Hello my name is Diana and I'm hoping I can help you with any patchwork or quilting supplies you might require for your projects or to help you with any sewing machine queries, lessons or problems.

I have been a patchworker for the last 30 years, I worked for Bernina New Zealand for 7 years and owned Kapiti Coast Bernina for 4 years. I was trained as a Kindergarten Teacher and still retain that love of teaching but now in the area of my passion, Sewing! I can give one on one lessons on your Bernina machine in your own home, I can help you with patchwork projects either at your home or you can attend classes in Upper Hutt. I have a particular interest in helping customers with their Bernina embroidery machines and sotware packages. We have a committed group of embroiderers who have been meeting for the last 10 years.

My latest endeavour was purchasing Thimbles and Threads quilting machine when the store moved to smaller premises. For the last 2 years I have been on a steep learning curve to come to grips with a very old and non-computerised machine. I call myself an organic quilter which  means my quilting will be free flowing and no 2 areas will be the same.  For information on pricing look under the quilting tab.

I believe patchwork is one of these hobbies where by meeting with like minded people you can learn new skills from each other and exchange ideas and techniques as well as enjoying a sense of cameraderie. I have been quilting with the same group of woman for the last 24 years.
